Mission:
The coaches and the board of directors of the Vertical Vault Club (VVC) have a passion for the sport of pole vaulting. Most were pole vaulters in their youth and some still vault as Masters. Most coach for local high schools and/or universities. The club provides an environment where young potential vaulters as well as experienced vaulters can develop their skills at their own pace to their own interest level. Members of the club meet other vaulters at practices and street vaults and develop mutually beneficial relationships that can last through years of participation and competition.
The VVC is an Oregon Non-Profit business with the sole purpose to promote the sport by providing coaching and training facilities and equipment. Membership and participation in VVC activities requires membership in USA Track and Field. USATF is the national governing body for track and field in the United States, and this provides a framework of professionalism, and quality to all our activities. |
